365 Days of Jazz Hands - Day 67

FRIDAY, MARCH 8th, 2013

Rule #4:  Since the serve is lofted nicely with proper arcitude, it is improper etiquette to return a service with a spike (straight line trajectory).  You may be clever in your return, you may give the ball some back skin, but the daunting spike may not be used in the service return, as tempting as it may be.

After the serve and after the return, the spiking may commence.  By rule, the ball must be struck a minimum of two times prior to a spike gaining eligibility.  The third strike may be a spike.

It is Friday and I am about to douse the office lights for the weekend.  I will be hand jazzing all the way home.  If you are wondering what it is like to drive home at night while jazzing the hands, take a look at this photo, posted below.  To be fair, the photo represents what it looks like to drive, hand jazz and shoot a photo all at once.  Driving and hand jazzing probably looks slightly less hectic...but not by much.

Hand Jazzy Commute
