365 Days of Jazz Hands - Day 61

SATURDAY, MARCH 2nd, 2013

We can learn a lot from the cat.  Having nine lives definitely changes your outlook on risk taking.  That is not to encourage reckless behavior of course but, stepping out of a comfort zone has some associated merit.

In this game of life, or "vollepotadodge" as it is unfortunately dubbed for now, with the Blue Meanie watching over us as some sort of sports cliché referee, showering his hand jazzing down upon us, it is advised that the risk averse take this lesson from the cat.  To value life but also to embrace small doses of irreverence.

Wouldn't this game of vollepotadodge be much more compelling if we all had those nine lives at our disposal?  What if I told you we did?  Remember M-Theory with its parallel universes and doppelgängers?  It is perfectly logical to believe there are exactly nine alternate realities running alongside this one we're conscious of.

Perfectly logical.

Vollepotadoge probably has a cooler name in one of those other realities, too.  Damn those smarty pants doppelgängers.  In the spirit of competition, we will NOT be outdone.  From this day forth, we shall refer to our game as "Nine Lives" to constantly remind ourselves that risks are worth taking.  Take that, doppelgängers!

What on earth does this have to do with Jazz Hands?  Remember, everything is connected and there is no randomness.

For instance...

The past couple of days I have been experimenting with variations and combinations of Jazz Hands.  One such combo married "Honka Honka Jazz Hands" with "Surprise Attack Jazz Hands."  I won't get into the details of the results, but I can confirm that it will be a good long time before I try it again.

I likely would not have attempted such a daring move without embracing the inherent risk involved.

One life down, eight to go.

Today's Jazz Hands connected the dots.  Day sixty-one complete.
