365 Days of Jazz Hands - Day 282

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 9th, 2013

It's not an overly complicated game Mitch and I have planned.  There are definitely some sophisticated aspects that we will have to execute, but overall it's quite an easy premise.

It's merely a game of hide-and-go-seek.

The preparations took a while with much research required along the way, and it was an interesting scavenger hunt to find all of the necessary items we will need to properly compete.

What frustrates me the most is Mitch's general impatience combined with his reluctance to pitch in to help organize.  I suppose my disappointment should not come as a surprise and frankly, I'm likely to blame for letting things get to this point.

Reinforcement via repetition begets habitual response.  I have given Mitch every reason to believe that he need only want for something for me to provide it.  Our tenuous relationship has become symbiotic as the more I give in to the unspoken assumptions, I am spared the guilt and doubt he is so apt to offer.

But the entitlement he exudes drives me up the wall.

Alas, we are ready to begin.  Almost.

The plans have been planned, the research researched and the supplies supplied (no thanks to Mitch).  Now we await our window of opportunity to begin the game.

Today's Jazz Hands are raring to go.

Day two-hundred and eighty-two complete.
