Law enforcement, crime scene investigations, forensics and legal terminology are all on tap today. Nothing overly cliché about that.
The thin line between what constitutes a reasonable threat and what does not lacks concrete distinction and can be the difference between walking free and a mandatory twenty-year sentence, or worse. It can also mean the difference between life and death.
A reaction made with great haste can and will effect your life and quite possibly other lives near you. Understanding that and being prepared for that moment you hope never occurs is vital. At times you've got to think fast and your instinctual behavior better kick in and do right.
The day began quietly with some much needed education and a test. Then the day became quite loud for a few brief moments and all has become quiet once again. I am more knowledgable and eligible than before...and preparedness is half the battle, which is a fairly cliché thing to say. It is Sunday, after all.
Today's Jazz Hands were drawn like a pistol. Quickly. Safely. With purpose.
